Hello! My name is Sarah, aka Miss Whisk.
I’m a mom of three, toddler to teen (yes 15 1/2 years between oldest and youngest, a big surprise and blessing to say the least).
As a recipe creator and domestics engineer I have many roles. Mom, mommy, mother, driver, cleaning lady, scheduler, activity and event planner, laundry magician, boo boo fixer, fixer of all problems, keeper of all the snacks, and playing in the kitchen.
Our lives are always changing lately, like everyone and we learn, evolve, and adapt along the way (which is why you will see many different recipes past and present as our families dietary needs change). Cooking just isn’t about food.
It’s fun, delicious, there is emotion, and so many more things than just the physical food.
You’ll find mix of all different types of breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks. It will be everything from healthy shakes and smoothies, raw whole foods, elaborate “fancy” meals, simple meals, desserts, kids meals and snacks, sourdough.
As I said everything needs balance and everything in moderation so while most of the foods here will be healthy, you ABSOLUTELY WILL find indulging over the top desserts and treats as well!
Eat well, play hard!
Enjoy!

Found your site thru Vega! We followed you on twitter and saw a photo of really cute kitty cat cookies! Is that recipe on your site? I wanted to show the photo to my Mom because it’s so cute & she loves making cookies…or at least I would love her to make me those.
Thanks!

Thank you! The blue kitty with dots that was my Twitter background? I don’t see it there anymore but I am not sure if that is where you saw it or if it was a link. It is a sugar cookie with icing I made to replicate a http://www.blablakids.com doll named Bubbles. It is not on my blog as I made them for Christmas last year and again right before I started my blog. You can find more pictures of them in my Instagram. I posted them in February and December. I am not able to post a link to the pictures on Instagram. I believe it is also posted on the blablakids website I can see if I can find a link to it.

Your site is an inspiration. I have three very active young boys and a cyclist for a husband. I am looking towards clean eating although our diet is quiet good. I want serious energy to keep up and get the family fully charged! I am in the UK so some things you use are not on my radar yet. Thank you for the fun fresh approach with the family in mind.

I am a pescetarian who really hates to cook… but in order to live I must cook… & I really dislike following recipes, HA (my game plan is to find a man who likes to cook)… anyway! I stumbled upon your site & decided to try some of your recipes…
I made the sweet potato pot pies & they smell amazing!
I made the White Bean & Mushroom chili (I subbed leeks for onion because I had an extra from the SPPP & forgot to buy onions). I tasted it as I was portioning it out for the week and it tasted fabulous!!!
Lastly I made the spinach pancakes & they smelled so good. I made the peanut butter tofu spread too to put on them.
Can’t wait to try more recipes! Thanks for these, I am excited 🙂

Thank you so much for your kind words. I am happy you happened to stumble upon my site and you are liking my recipes! I guess it is a good thing I try to make most of them easy for those who don’t like to cook. 😉
If you follow me on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook I would love it if you posted a picture sometime if you make another recipe.
