Almond is another favorite of mine, I love how it smells and tastes. Almonds remind me of christmas and cookies. You may be wondering what makes this almond smoothie so amazing. This smoothie is so amazing because it is simple, good for you, and the options are endless with all the almond butters out there today. You can go classic and simple and use plain almond butter. Maybe add a little excitement and use vanilla almond butter but still keeping it safe and simple. Or have fun and try one of the fun almond butters like my favorite Wild Friends Vanilla Espresso Almond Butter! However you decide to make it it is sure to be Amazing!
Amazing Almond Smoothie
1c almond milk (used So Delicious Unsweetened Almond Milk Plus)
1-2TBSP almond butter* (used Justins Vanilla Almond Butter and Wild Friends Vanilla Espresso Almond Butter in our shakes)
1c ice or desired amount, optional
*If you don’t have or don’t want to use almond protein powder use 2 tablespoons of almond butter and if desired add 1/2 a frozen banana or oats to thicken. You can add more banana if you want to thicken but it will take away from the almond taste.
Place everything in a Vitamix or blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
