Apple, Beet, Chai Protein Shake

 

Decided to switch up my chai protein shake and instead of adding my usual banana, pumpkin, or chocoalte, I decided to add beets and an apple.

 

Apple, Beet, Chai Protein Shake

Makes 1 serving

2 beets (used pre-cooked cooled beets)

1 small apple, cored

1 c almond milk (used So Delicious Unsweetened Almond Milk Plus)

1 scoop chai protein powder (used Vega One Vanilla Chai)*

Ice, optional

 

*Omit for children and add cinnamon and ginger to taste.

 

Place everything in a Vitamix, or high speed blender, and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
