Went to make a protein shake after my workouts today and wasn’t feeling the norm. Since it is National Banana Cream Pie Day I thought why not a Banana Cream Pie Protein Shake!
Banana Cream Pie Protein Shake
1c unsweetened almond milk (used Silk)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (used Vega One French Vanilla)
1 large frozen banana
1 tsp organic gelatinized maca (optional)
Throw everything in a blender or Magic Bullet and blend until smooth and creamy. If you want to dress it up try topping with some whipped coconut cream, banana slices, and or sliced almonds. Enjoy!
While your at it make one for the kids!! Decrease milk to 3/4c, add a little vanilla bean and omit the protein powder and maca.
