More bang in your protein smoothie with these berries! I am always looking for ways to get more out of my smoothies, adding as much good without compromising taste or adding unneccessary calories.
Berry Antioxidant Protein Smoothie
Makes 1 serving
1 TBSP Goji berries
1/3c raspberries, fresh or frozen (used fresh)
3-4 blackberries (used fresh)
1c unsweetened almond milk (So Delicious Unsweetened Almond Milk Plus adds an extra 5grams of protein and has only 40 calories!)
1 scoop blueberry extract protein powder
1 tsp gelatinized maca powder (optional)
Soak goji berries, optional, until softened. I put mine in some water before my workout so they were ready after. In a Vitamix or high-speed blender berries, almond milk, maca, and protein powder until smoothie. Blend in ice to desired consistancy is reached. Enjoy!
