Birthday No Cake Protein Shake

Birthday No Cake Protein Shake

It’s my birthday and I’ll have SPRINKLES if I want to! So I added some to my protein shake!

Birthday Protein Shake

1 c almond milk, or non dairy milk (used Silk unsweetened Almond Milk)

1- 1 1/2 ripe frozen bananas, cut into chunks

1 scoop vanilla or plain protein powder (used Vega One French Vanilla)

a few drops pure organic almond extract

SPRINKLES

coconut cream whipped cream- optional

Put almond milk, frozen banana, protein powder, and almond extract into a Magic Bullet or blender and blend until smooth. Taste to see if you need more almond extract. Pour into glass, add coconut whipping cream if you would like, and top with sprinkles! Do a little dance and enjoy your shake!

*I add more banana to this then I normally would but wanted it really thick and creamy like a milkshake. If you want you can decrease the banana and add some almond milk ice cubes (so it won’t water it down).

Since your kids will want to celebrate too and scream SPRINKLES! when they see yours make one for them.

Birthday No Cake Shake

this made two smaller servings

1-2 c almond milk, or non dairy milk (used Silk unsweetened Almond Milk)

1- 2 ripe frozen bananas, cut into chunks

a few drops pure organic almond extract

SPRINKLES

coconut cream whipped cream- optional

*I started with about 2 frozen bananas and 1 cup of almond milk and then added from there until I got the consistency I wanted. You can start with milk and add more bananas if you want. If you want a thick shake it will be about a 1:1 ratio I found.

Put almond milk, frozen banana, and almond extract into a Magic Bullet or blender and blend until smooth. Taste to see if you need more almond extract. Pour into glass, add coconut whipping cream if you would like, and top with sprinkles! Do a little dance and enjoy your shake!
