I had some delicious fresh blackberries that had to be used up so I decided to make this shake with them.
Blackberry Ginger Protein Shake
Makes 1 serving
1c non dairy milk (used So Delicious Unsweetened Almond Milk Plus)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (used Vega One French Vanilla)
1/2- 3/4c fresh blackberries, could use frozen if not in season
1/2-1tsp fresh grated ginger root (used 1tsp)
ice, optional (added a cup of cubes)
additional vitamins or suppliments you usually add to your daily shake, optional
In a Vitamix or high-speed blender blend everything together until smooth. Enjoy!
