Looking for a cold treat that packs a protein punch? Try a Blue Very Berry Protein Smoothie or Pop after your workout or your kids soccer practice. Really I don’t think there needs to be a reason to enjoy this smoothie or popsicle it is perfect and hits the spot every time!
Blue Very Berry Protein Smoothie or Protein Pops
Makes 1 smoothie or 4-6 popsicles (we use a Zoku Quick Pop Popsicle Maker)
1 c water
1 c frozen blueberries
3 TBSP hemp seeds (Navitas Naturals Hemp Seeds)
1 tsp maui berry powder, optional (Navitas Naturals Maqui Powder)
pinch of cinnamon
1 scoop vanilla protein, optional (use Vega One French Vanilla for me, Vega Viva Vanilla Protein Smoothie for the kids)
1 ripe banana
Combine everything in a Vitamix, or high-speed blender, and blend until smooth. If making popsicles pour into popsicle maker and freeze, 7 minutes for Zoku Pop Maker or per package instructions for other popsicles. Enjoy!
