Looking for a fresh new lunch or breakfast idea? Making a batch of Cacao Hummus which we have been loving for snacks and breakfast with berries or on toast. Umm toasted sprouted bread topped with cacao hummus and berries or avocado slices, delicious! I was craving crepes one morning but didn’t have time to make them, but I did have some paleo coconut sheets in the cupboard to make wraps. Yep spread some cacao hummus, sprinkle with fresh berries, and a little muesli because I was craving that too and poof a delicious satisfying breakfast or lunch wrap! They could even pass as a dessert!
I found these coconut wraps (Pure Wraps! Coconut Wraps) at a local healthy food store last year and used them to make my Cucumber Strawberry Bouquet Wraps and Mango Chicken Coconut Wraps, both vegan and gluten free as well. These wraps are paleo, gluten free, vegan, and great to have on hand. They are just coconut. I have seen other brands at Whole Foods but they were twice as much as these ones and I haven’t tried them. Of course you can also make these with a sprouted tortilla or any tortilla, well plain one because you wouldn’t want to use one of those basil or garlic tortillas, that you have on hand.
Cacao Hummus Berry Coconut Wraps
Makes 1 serving
1 coconut wrap, or sprouted tortilla (used Pure Wraps Coconut Wrap)
1/4c Cacao Hummus
1c fresh berries
2 TBSP muesli, optional (used Seven Sunday’s Cocoa & Coconut Muesli)
Spread hummus down the middle of your coconut wrap diagonally from one corner to the other. Sprinkle with berries and optional muesli, roll, and enjoy!

They have a brand at my local WFM, can’t remember which brand but they are over by the bakery bread and they are around $9-$10. I get these Pure Wrap brand ones at a local Natural Food store for around $4!!

Thank you! I linked to my Cacao Hummus, it is quick and easy to make and it can be used for breakfast, lunch, or snacks. I like to pair it with berries, just use it as a dip for fruit, top bread, I’m sure I can find other ways to enjoy it but it usually disappears pretty quick. I hope you enjoy it if you try it. If you are lucky enough you might be in an area that has the Hope Dark Chocolate Hummus, our WFM doesn’t sell it so I had to make my own. I did try theirs at Expo and it is much richer than I ever thought it would be and they turned it into ice cream!
