Ginger, people either love it or hate it, I love it! When I saw Chimes Peanut Butter Ginger Chews I knew I had to get them! Two of my favorites peanut butter (it is no secret I love peanut butter andĀ almost all nut butters) and ginger! When I found them it was a love at first bite, I was not disappointed! I thought these would be perfect for my purse and nobody would touch them, they would be mine, all mine. Nope. Both of the girls love them and the bag disappeared. These delicious little candies are the inspiration for this smoothie.
You can also leave out the green for a delicious dreamy dessert shake and use Vega Protein Smoothie instead, or protein to fit your needs!

In a Vitamix, or high-speed blender, blend everything together until smooth. Garnish with a peanut butter drizzle if desired. Enjoy!
As a Vega Recipe Ambassador I receive Vega products, which I used as an option in this recipe. I use Vega not because it is given to me but because it has been my plant-based protein of choice since before I started blogging and some recipes are made with Vega products I purchase. I only write about foods I love, my blog is an extension of my hobby to make fun healthy food creations for me and my family.

Thank you Heather! You need to try Chimes Ginger Chews, I just found them recently and they are so good! Ginger tea is good too, do you have a favorite? I am a ginger fan but my husband is not, I think it came from when I made a really strong batch of juice years back that he said burned it was so strong.
