Iced Nana Chai Latte
Iced Nana Chai Latte

Sweet chai of mine this Iced Nana Chai Latte is my favorite transition drink from summer to fall. Perfect for those cooler summer days, warmer fall mornings, and on of my go-tos before barre like all my Nana Lattes!

Yep multiple and Nana Lattes are a thing. At first you might think it’s a little odd to put bananas in coffee or tee drinks, trust me as a big coffee lover I thought it was so strange! Then I had a blended banana cinnamon nitro coffee drink and it was good. This was after putting bananas in my coffee smoothies which was ok but not my favorite. I first posted Iced Nana Lattes, then a more indulging Iced Nana Mocha, and for the non coffee lovers and days I wanted something different an Iced Nana Matcha Latte. It was only a matter of time before I shared this Iced Nana Chai Latte which I think it the last in the collection of recipes but don’t quote me because you never know where inspiration is hiding and if I’ll get crazy idea for another version.

Pouring Iced Nana Chai Latte

The banana blends perfectly in this chai latte adding a slight sweetness with the chai spices for a refreshing yet comforting treat. It gives me almost the same feels as eating a warm slice of banana bread and just hits the spot. Smooth and creamy it can be made with a fresh banana or to make it thicker a frozen banana. Finished with a sprinkle of cinnamon.

We are out of town today so no Iced Nana Chai Latte for me, well unless I mash the banana with a fork since we’re camping in BWCA and I don’t have my Vitamix or a blender with. I’ll be catching up with comments later this week when I have signal or we get back but look forward to seeing what you’ve been up to in your kitchen and hope you link up with Deborah and for Meatless Monday.

I look forward to catching up when I get back, sharing some exciting news, and getting in the kitchen to start playing and creating some fall recipes (the list of ideas is long but don’t worry I won’t be posting pumpkin next week)!

Recipe Notes

There are many add in ways to customizer your latte. Add a scoop of collagen (I like Vital Proteins), and or your favorite adaptogens (maca, ashwagana, and reishi are my favorites).
*I use fresh or frozen it depends on what I have on hand. Frozen is slightly thicker and colder. Adjust to taste.
I usually go for a 1:1 ratio but depending on taste or chai used you can adjust this.
