It is National Oatmeal Cookie Day and it inspired me to make this Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Protein Shake! This would even be good for a breakfast shake, add more oats if you would like, and have in place of a bowl of oatmeal on the go.
Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Protein Shake
1 c almond milk, or non dairy milk (used Silk unsweetened Almond Milk)
1 scoop vanilla or chai protein powder (used Vega One French Vanilla)
1/4- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (omit if using chai protein powder)
3 TBSP gluten free oats
1 TBSP organic raisins (or more, I used 1 tbsp)
Ice or milk cubes- optional to thicken
1/2 frozen banana- optional if you want to thicken
Add all ingrediants to a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
