Do you and or your kids love peanut butter and jelly? Or maybe you are looking for a fun or different breakfast that is healthy? This Peanut Butter & Jelly is a fun twist on a warm breakfast that is still healthy and a great start to your or your childs day! I decided to let the kids do their own swirling their own peanut butter and jelly. Sometimes they make fun designs and sometimes they just add a spoonful of each and swirl it around.
Peanut Butter & Jelly Oatmeal
Makes 1 serving, easily double or triple as needed
1/2 c oats, gluten-free
1/2 tsp vanilla, optional
sweetener of choice to taste, optional (the jam will sweeten it as well)
1-2 TBSP peanut butter (used Peanut Butter & Co Smooth Operator)
1 TBSP jam (used Crofter’s Organic Raspberry Jam)
Cook oats per directions. I cook mine on the stove it is just as quick when making more than one serving and there is no boiling over or a hot bowl. Stir in optional vanilla and sweeteners as you usually would. Spoon oatmeal into a bowl and top with peanut butter and jelly. I let them do their own. Spoon the jelly on and I place the peanut butter in a frosting piping bag, or plastic snack bag and snip the corner, and let them create designs or whatever they want on top. Sometimes they just use a spoon and have a spoonful of jelly and a spoonful of peanut butter and swirl. Enjoy!

How fun! PB and J Sammie’s were my favorite! I think it’s such a great idea to bring them to breakfast!:)
