Our second Wands Go Wild Wednesday and I’m in the kitchen with my youngest daughter “A”! A is my mini me and we have one big food craving in common, we both love PEANUT BUTTER!! If I let her have peanut butter for breakfast, lunch, and dinner she would be in heaven. I even think that if I picked a food she hated and put peanut butter on it she would eat it, or at least pretend say ok and just lick the peanut butter off. Peanut butter just makes everything better. Peanut butter goes great with another staple in our house, and one of our go to snacks/desserts, popcorn! Drizzling melted peanut butter over popcorn is so delicious but so sticky and messy. Looking for another way to enjoy the tasty treat and maybe even take it to school we decided to make it with powdered peanut butter. Just like the orange cheesy dust is to Cheetos this powdered peanut butter is finger licking good, and less messy than the melted peanut butter popcorn version. So quick and simple a 6 year old can make it! Yep not hard to shake the bag, I did helped her melt the coconut oil. We used Skinny Pop but you can use any air popped popcorn. We do have another way we are going to attempt to make it with another one of our microwave favorite popcorns but didn’t get a chance to but will update the post and post it on Instagram and Facebook within the next week as soon as we try it! We are pretty sure it will be amazing, only wish we would have thought of it a couple days ago and not late at night the night before we were posting this. Usually we don’t do things so last minute but with the Wands Going Wild being the girls need to get some more time in the kitchen to build up their post in que.
Are you a peanut butter fan, what is your favorite peanut butter? Have you found anything that peanut butter doesn’t taste good with?
Peanut Butter Popcorn
Makes 1 serving
4c popcorn (we used Skinny Pop)
1/2tsp coconut oil, melted
1-2 TBSP peanut butter powder, like PB2 (we used Honeyville Organic Peanut Butter Powder we got at Costco)
Add popcorn to a brown paper bag, we use a jumbo brown paper lunch bag, and drizzle coconut oil over top. Roll top and shake bag to coat popcorn with coconut oil. Open bag and sprinkle 1-2 tablespoons of peanut butter powder over top, roll top closes again and shake to coat. Enjoy!!

Oh my gosh. Everything about this post is amazing. Love the picture with her hand, and I want to go get some PB2 right now to make this!! Do you think we can do it with regular PB? Might be a little/a lot messier…

We use to make peanut butter popcorn mixing a little coconut oil and peanut butter on the stove until warm and drizzling over popcorn and mixing. It is definitely messier, which is why we made this! They have PB2 at Target otherwise if you have a Costco membership they have a big bag of organic powdered pb, which is what we used.

Haha! You can totally justify having both, they are different and each have their place!
