Have you ever had chocolate with pumpkin? If not you have to try it, it is delicious!
Pumpkin Maca Chocolate Chip Protein Shake
1c almond milk, or non dairy milk of choice (used So Delicious Unsweetened Almond Milk Plus for extra protein)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (used Vega One French Vanilla)*
1/2c pumpkin puree, not pie filling
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 Vega Maca Chocolate Bar, or Cacao Nibs (used Vega Maca Chocolate Bar)
ice, optional (used 1c and it was very thick and creamy)
*It is also delicious with Vega Sport Performance Protein, Vanilla.
In a Vitamix or high-speed blender blend together milk, protein powder, pumpkin, spices, and optional ice until smooth. Add in Maca Chocolate or cacao nibs and pulse until chopped well and mixed. Pour into glass and top with a dash of pumpkin pie spice and grated Maca Chocolate or cacao nibs. Enjoy!
