Did you hear the news? WholeMe released a new flavor yesterday, Salted Peanut Chocolate Clusters! I love their Lemon Berry Chia Clusters and always have a couple bags in the cupboard. When they reached out to me and asked if I wanted to try their new flavor and maybe use them in a recipe creation I jumped on it because they are one of my favorite local brands. Of course you can find their clusters in many Whole Foods Stores and right now there code on their Facebook page for free shipping to order them online.
If you know me or are a regular reader you will know I love chocolate and peanut butter. It was so hard not to sit and eat the whole bag, and even harder keeping them hidden from mini me A because she would have eaten them all. WholeMe Clusters are all dairy free, gluten free, non-gmo, and paleo friendly although with this flavor I don’t think it’s paleo but I’m not one to confirm that. They are also naturally sweetened, with honey, so that would be the reason they are not vegan but they are made with whole food real ingredients. Yep packed full of peanuts, seeds, chocolate, coconut, a hint of honey, and a little salt to top it off.
So I snacked on them and of course the first thing that comes to mind, besides to keep snacking on them, is to put them on top of a smoothie bowl. That is my favorite way to enjoy them! They are also great on ice cream, stuffed sweet potatoes, and since I was snacking on them watching S eat her chia pudding and wishing I had a bowl of chia pudding to sprinkle some on that is just what I did. Of course in recipe testing I made 3 flavor combos and figured between me and the girls we could narrow it down to one of the three flavors, nope. They were all so good, I tried again and nope we still liked them all. Oh and it even got a little crazier layering the flavors together, because peanut butter and banana is yummy, peanut butter and chocolate always hits the spot, chocolate and bananas are delicious, and all three well that’s just enough to leave me smiling all day!
I also happened to be whipping up a lot of bites that week, yes a few weeks ago all those chocolate protein bites I was testing , I also sprinkled some on top of them before baking and they were amazing! That recipe is coming too maybe Friday otherwise for sure next week. I was planning Friday but a smoothie bowl I was planning on posting last week got bumped and people have been asking for that bowl too. So many good things to share if there were enough coffee in the world and I could keep up with life I would post them all this week. I’m also trying to get things lined up for being out of town in March for Expo West and then heading to Napa for our anniversary. If you’re going to be at Expo or if you have something you want me to look for there let me know! If you have any places I have to check out down there or up the coast to Napa let me know. We spent a lot of time in the Bay area last year and the husband will be there before so I think we will skip that, with the exception of Cinnaholic (need my cinnamon roll), Pressed Juicery (need my juice), and Philz Coffee (umm where have you been Iced Mint Mojito Coffee). For Napa, Yountville, we’ve done all the musts and we have some favs but I’m hoping to maybe find some hidden gems in the area.
So back to the WholeMe Salted Peanut Chocolate Clusters and chia pudding, which flavor combo would you make first?
Salted Peanut Chocolate Cluster Chia Puddings
Makes 1 serving, easily multiplied for more
Banana Chia Pudding
1/2c coconut milk, or dairy free milk of choice (So Delicious Unsweetened Vanilla Coconut Milk)*
2 TBSP chia seeds (Navitas Naturals)
1/2 mashed banana
1/2 tsp vanilla, optional
1/4c WholeMe Salted Peanut Chocolate Clusters
Chocolate Chia Pudding
1/2c coconut milk, or dairy free milk of choice (So Delicious Unsweetened Vanilla Coconut Milk)*
2 TBSP chia seeds (Navitas Naturals)
2 TBSP cacao powder (Navitas Naturals)
sweetener of choice to taste (stevia or maple syrup)
1/4c WholeMe Salted Peanut Chocolate Clusters
Peanut Butter Chia Pudding
1/2c coconut milk, or dairy free milk of choice (So Delicious Unsweetened Vanilla Coconut Milk)*
2 TBSP chia seeds (Navitas Naturals)
2 TBSP peanut butter powder (Peanut Butter & Co Go Mighty Nut Peanut Butter Powder)
sweetener of choice to taste (stevia or maple syrup)
1/4c WholeMe Salted Peanut Chocolate Clusters
*If I want a richer creamier chia pudding I use 1/4 cup of So Delicious Unsweetened Vanilla Coconut Milk and 1/4 cup of So Delicious Original Culinary Coconut Milk.
For a protein option add in protein powder after soaking and more coconut milk as needed to reach desired consistency.
In a jar or container mix together milk, chia seeds, and additional ingredients based on flavor you are making minus the clusters. Cover and refrigerate at least 2-3 hours or overnight, stir in optional add-ins and or more liquid to reach desired consistency, top with Whole Me Clusters. Enjoy!

The banana one is fabulous just with banana slices. They also make my favorite clusters, Lemon Berry Chia Clusters. It still has nuts but not peanuts, this is their first peanut one.
