As I saw this shiny bright red apple staring at me I thought of Snow White and decided I was going to whip up a Snow White Smoothie for my little princesses. This is great for breakfast, snack, or even a dessert. In a hurry whip it up and they can enjoy it on the go! I let the girls each pick out an apple to use, one was not marked so I did test it. I would suggest using red, sweet, flavorful apples.
Snow White Smoothie
Makes 2 servings
2″ vanilla bean pod, if you don’t have this you can add vanilla extract although it will make your smoothie less white
2- 6 ounce containers greek vanilla or plain yogurt (used So Delicious Greek Style Vanilla Coconut Milk Yogurt)
2 sweet red apples (used a Honey Crisp and another flavorful unmarked apple)
ice, optional
Peel and core apple and place with yogurt in a Vitamix or high-speed blender. Cut vanilla bean in half and scrap inside seeds in with the yogurt and apples. Blend until smooth. If desired add ice and blend smooth. Enjoy!
