Tropical Berry Kombucha Smoothie

Tropical Berry Kombucha Smoothie
Today’s post is sponsored by my friends at So Delicious. No secret I love their products and when they asked me to create a smoothie to share for their 21 Day Dairy Free Challenge of course I said yes!
Today is the first day of the So Delicious 21 Day Dairy Free Challenge! To celebrate I created a healthy and delicious Tropical Berry Kombucha Smoothie for So Delicious to kick things off. So Delicious has been doing this challenge for a few years now and it’s always fun. Whether you are new to a dairy-free lifestyle, have been living dairy-free for years, or want to cut out dairy and see how you feel there is something for everyone. It’s a 21 day challenge that starts today and goes through February 12th, or longer! There is a Facebook group with support and resources, challenges, and giveaways! I hope you’ll join me and many others.
If you are new to a dairy free lifestyle there are so many new products coming out, restaurants that are more flexible, it’s a lot easier than it use to be. A big game changer for me was finally making delicious dairy free pizza. With So Delicious dairy free yogurts, beverages, my favorite Culinary Coconut Milk, and delicious ice creams (my fav is the Salted Caramel Cluster Cashew Milk Ice Cream, another game changer for this ice cream lover). Not to mention eating smoothie bowls for breakfast and I have a delicious one coming later this week that’s inspired by a classic favorite treat, but don’t worry it’s so healthy there will be no guilt eating it for breakfast!
Now to start the challenge, day, and week we’re raising our glasses filled with Tropical Berry Kombucha Smoothie!

Tropical Berry Kombucha Smoothie
It’s no secret that we like our smoothies and our kombucha (probiotics). My girls and I drink our kombucha and sparkling probiotics daily and are making our own again but it isn’t nearly enough to keep up with our love for it. Sometimes we combine them but not too often but more so this year, especially when we come up with delicious combos we all love. This is one we’re really loving and I had to share but was waiting for the perfect time. This is a simple healthy and delicious smoothie that kids and adults both love. Made with ingredients that are in season and easy to find. Starting with base of So Delicious Coconut Milk, a fresh orange, frozen pineapple, and a hint of fresh ginger. Than swirled or layered with a raspberry chia probiotic/kombucha smoothie. Healthy fats, omega-3, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antioxidants, fiber, and probiotics all packed into a delicious good for your gut smoothie we like for breakfast but also makes a refreshing snack. I’m not going to lie it’s a smoothie we play with and swirl around before and while we sip it.

Tropical Berry Kombucha Smoothie
If you’re new to kombucha this is a great time to pick up a bottle to try, you only need a cup to make this smoothie so you can drink the rest or make multiple smoothies. If you don’t like kombucha it won’t be wasted either as you don’t really taste in this smoothie but you’d still get the health benefits. We’ve used ginger, ginger lemon, raspberry lemon and a couple others in this. If kombucha isn’t something you like you sparkling probiotic drinks are another option. My girls love Kevita Sparkling Probiotics, we buy them at Target and Whole Foods.

Well I do like the fun colors!
Fun and flavorful!
I don’t really like kombucha, maybe I would if it was in a smoothie. Do you have any suggestions on what to look for when buying it?
Kortney // Allergy Girl Eats recently posted…Whole30 Day 13: Green & Orange
It’s not too noticeably in a smoothie, especially one packed with so much flavor. If you don’t like kombucha maybe try a Kevita Sparkling Probiotic drink. Lemon Ginger, Pineapple Coconut, and Mango Coconut are their top flavors, oh and Strawberry Acai Coconut. If you try one let me know what you think, and if you don’t like it blend it in this smoothie and I bet you’ll like it.
I love the colors in this! I’ve never put Kombucha in a smoothie, great idea!

I’ve totally been doing this with the Kevita Probiotic drink, it gives my smoothie a big kick! how you got it to swirl I’ll never figure out!

Isn’t it so good? The swirl is easy, just blend the base above, pour into a glass, blend the raspberry layer and pour over top and it sinks down. Swirl with your straw or a spoon and you’re good to go!
What a great way to start the day!
It really is!
I’ve never had kombucha in a smoothie, but this (as with all your recipes) looks amazing! <3! Makes me wish summer were here–the weather sucks today!

This sounds so delicious! We take probiotics but not in kombucha form! I need to give it a try!

Haha we don’t need any help adding in more kombucha, we would drink it all day every day if we could. LOL. Thank you it’s a great combo and than the raspberry balances out the citrus with a little pucker power.
This is a way more fun way to have probiotics! I love how it’s both kid and adult friendly! I’ll have to try this. Thanks for sharing!
Fun is the way to go, and flavorful! I think you’ll love it.

I think you would love it too! If you have a Target they have Kevita on sale with a Cartwheel so it’s less than $2 a bottle. Also Fresh Thyme often does a BOGO sale on kombucha, they just had one that ended last week.
Smoothies are always a fun and healthy snack but even better when you can swirl and play around with it as you drink it. Looks super yummy.

I have to admit, kombucha and I are not friends. But this flavor blend looks right up my alley Sarah! It needs to get made soon, but maybe with another probiotic treat 🙂

Oh no, but I understand as not everyone is a fan of it. If you haven’t tried Kevita Probiotic Drinks they are like a tame version of kombucha and work great in this smoothie.
YUM! This pairs my favorite–berries AND kombucha. Can’t wait to make these and dairy free to boot!
