Watermelon Soother, A Whisk and Two Wands
Watermelon Soother

Happy National Watermelon Day!! What better way to celebrate with a watermelon drink? We love watermelon, who doesn’t love watermelon? In the summer when they’re in peak season we will easily go through 2-3 watermelons. Watermelon drinks we love those too. S, oldest daughter, love watermelon water, drinks, juices. I think the only fruit she loves more is mangos. Lately with her tummy troubles this Watermelon Soother has been her go-to. It is so hydrating and so soothing for her stomach. I have to admit I love it as much as her. It’s also perfect for a post soccer, or any activity, cool down!

The drink is simple and easy to make and I’ve included two of our favorite ways to make it, with fresh watermelon for more of a juice and frozen for more of a frosty treat. Make it in minutes the hardest thing was naming it with all the other watermelon drinks I have on the blog. I will warn you that you will love it so I always have watermelon cut up waiting or freeze and prep extra. It’s only 4 ingredients, you can do 3 if you need to, but it’s watermelon water (we use drinkMelon), watermelon, pear, and ginger. We also switch it up with drinkMaple (maple water) for added magnesium. If you don’t have either you can use coconut water if you have that. We also adjust the ginger based on our tastes at the moment because sometimes we want a little more bite and zing! I have also make it into a cocktail, shh, it’s pretty darn good!
